There has been a lot of talk in the town about Supplier One. If you haven’t already heard, it’s the platform that quietly tested the waters at the beginning of the year but is now fully on the scene, especially since Walmart announced that it would be replacing item 360.

While the core item and inventory functionalities might feel familiar if you’ve worked with Item 360, there are some key differences and new features worth paying attention to.

With new platforms come new features, and of course, with new features come new questions. But no worries—we’ve been deep in the Supplier One trenches, and we’ve surfaced with answers! 😎

Here are some of the most common questions we’ve encountered:

Q: What’s the difference between Online Only, Store Only, and Shared Items?

Online Only: Items are available only online, not in physical stores.
Store Only: Items sold exclusively in stores but visible on Walmart.com.
Shared: Store items that are also available online.

Q: How can I tell if an item can be shared?
An item from Owned or DSD suppliers can be shared if its cost, retail price, and quantities are the same both in-store and online. Additionally, the Walmart Item Number must meet these criteria:

It isn’t set as the primary item.
It’s eligible for Ship to Home.

Q: I’m having trouble with a screen not loading in Supplier One. What should I do?
Try clearing your browser cache, logging out and back in, or using an incognito window. If that doesn’t solve the issue, go ahead and submit a case ticket.

Q: How can I submit a case ticket in Supplier One?
Navigate to Supplier One, click the Help button in the top menu, and select Manage Tickets.

Q: Can I remove an item from Supplier One?
Yes, you can. To do so, update the Supply Item Status Code by going to Supplier One > Items and Inventory > Maintenance Hub > Update Item Configuration. From there, download the spreadsheet, make your changes, and submit it.

Q: How do I check if my item setup is complete?
Head to Supplier One > Items and Inventory > Submissions Manager. If everything is in order, your item will display a “complete” status.
