SupplyPike CTO Named To NWA Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 List

SupplyPike’s Chief Technology Officer TJ Sangam is one of this year’s individuals named to NWA Business Journal’s annual “Forty Under 40” list. The award is given to 40 individuals who are making a positive difference in their professions and thriving in their communities.

“The 40 young men and women we’re recognizing in this issue are some of the best and brightest in their industry, with a wide variety of skill sets and credentials. TJ was selected to join this group of community leaders based on his technological advances in supply chain and a passion for developing tech talent right out of college. TJ helped advance SupplyPike from a couple guys researching and developing ways to solve common supply chain problems into one of Northwest Arkansas’ fastest-growing companies. He started as a development intern and became Chief Technology Officer before age 30. 

In his current role, he develops and articulates the company’s strategic technical direction, and oversees the engineering, design, and product teams. Under TJ’s leadership, SupplyPike retains the largest software engineering team in Fayetteville, AR. 

Previously, TJ has worked with companies like Acxiom, J.B. Hunt, and Mercy Hospitals, and has been involved with numerous startups. TJ holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering/Math and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas. TJ has strong ties to the University of Arkansas STEM departments, where he recruits budding talent for technology-based internships and job opportunities.

TJ served as an advisor for the first annual Nowhere Developers Conference in Bentonville in 2018, where hundreds of developers and engineers came together to learn from industry experts and network with fellow attendees. He also serves as an advisor for TeenDevConf, a nonprofit started by an NWA student, with the goal of giving STEM students scholarships to attend tech conferences and events. 

TJ is being profiled alongside the other 2018 award recipients in a special issue of the Business Journal. Recipients will also be celebrated at a luncheon in Rogers at the Embassy Suites ballroom. View TJ’s full award profile.
