What is Supplier One?

Supplier One is Walmart’s new supplier management platform that is designed to bring together various supplier-facing tools into a single and simple integrated solution. The greatest advantage of this? Efficiency.

Supplier One saves time spent navigating multiple systems, with a simpler interface. Suppliers can track orders, manage item configurations, track deductions, and optimize performance all in one place, limiting the need for switching back and forth between apps.

Key Features of Supplier One:

  • Order Management – View purchase orders (POs), track order statuses, and manage fulfillment.
  • Items & Inventory – Access product catalogs, update item attributes, and adjust inventory levels.
  • Ship Point Management – Set up shipping locations, create exceptions, and track shipments.
  • Payments & Deductions – Monitor payments and deductions, and access financial records.
  • Reports & Performance – Analyze key metrics like On-Time In-Full (OTIF) compliance, return trends, and demand forecasting.

Integration with Retail Link and Other Walmart Systems

It is important to note that Supplier One has not yet replaced Retail Link in all aspects, but it does assume a lot of its core responsibilities. Retail Link is still Walmart’s primary supplier platform.

Supplier One manages routine supplier functions such as order management, inventory, and payables. While some applications, such as NOVA (order processing), ASPEN (ship point management), and APIS (accounting reports), are still standalone in Retail Link, Walmart has hinted towards these platforms migrating to Supplier One in the future.

Changing Country Settings

Having to operate in several Walmart markets means having to handle varying currencies, compliance rules, and reporting standards. Clicking on the country tab will allow suppliers to handle these variations by providing a convenient means to switch between regions.
